I found some really great magazines at the library last night called Ireland Of The Welcomes. There were 27 issues and best of all, they were for sale. I bought all 27 and am enjoying them. A lot of pictures and interesting articles.

I have only been to Ireland once, and that was a weekend in Belfast visiting a chum. Drove to the coast, wonderful scenery!!

So far, no gnomes but I am just starting to wade my way through. Did see one article about James Joyce who while ever known for Dublin, made trips to Galway. His wife was from there, I believe. While in the Navy, I went to school with a girl named Mary Christine Ann Elizabeth Joyce who claimed James Joyce as a great-grand uncle or some such. She was from Boston. I will keep you posted Frank as I find things about Galway. The issues are from 2001 to 2005 and published by the Irish Tourist Bureau.
