These are some of the iris's. They are only blooming down by the lower drive. The ones up by the house are not blooming yet. Tulips are not doing well this year. I'm not sure why. I planted dianthus up by the wheel. One of the honeysuckle plants dies so I have to find something more shade tolerant for there. Dooley
Your iris are beautiful Dooley. I really like the White one. What color is that first tulip when fully opened? It looks sort of pink and sort of orange to me.
Did your tulip bulbs stay in the ground from last year? If they did, and you did not have a cold winter that would keep them from blooming well. Tulip bulbs need a continuous chill period of at least 6 weeks to bloom. The irises are beautiful, especially the white. What kind are they?
I can only tell you that they are the kind that a friend of Dan's said to come and dig up because they were going to leave them when they moved. I've had them about 15 years and have moved them twice when we moved. Dooley
