This is my first time growing anything so this is all a learning experience for me. If I ask any stupid questions please forgive me in advance. I started the seeds in March. They have been in the bed for aprox a month or so. They were doing so great until today I noticed that when I look down into the stalks there is alot of off white dust balls. And the leaves are chewed. I don't notice any bugs, but I'm not sure what I'm looking for. When I pull some of the dusty stuff out it flies away and I can't seem to get a good inspection of it to even try to see if they are eggs. I kind of feel like its a dust from the leaves that were eaten. Again I'm new and don't know anything really. The corn stalks come to about my waist. The leaves are a hearty green color. Is there something I should be looking for to help me determine the bug or bugs that are causing this? The middle thing that comes out(yeah not sure what that's called) hasn't come up yet. I did try google but that didn't help. Im going to go take a pic to post here. Any help would be appreciated. Cause I'm feeling defeated today, I am having various problems in my garden.
