    That's probably the best show this plant has to offer, whatever it is, some kind of Amaranth maybe. Unless you want to attempt to find an herbal-type use, should one exist, I'd pull it up before it drops its' seeds.

    It is a WEED. It grows all over the place here, and I pull them up to feed to my horse and chickens. It never does anything more than that.

    Sounds like a good purpose to serve to me... in which case, maybe a few dropped seeds aren't so bad? More free chicken feed for next year?

    That plant is Ragweed, the main reason people get hayfever here. Pull it out quick before it drops the seeds!!
