Is this a Hellebore or in the same family?

    Apart from being beautiful to look at it had the most wonderful,heady aroma. All the roses were labelled but none of the spring flowers/shrubs.

    Yup it is a Helleborus.
    I wanna say it's H. foetidus... but I don't have this one so I can't be sure.

    I think it's Helleborus multifidus Kiasmum.

    Or possibly H. argutifolius (H. corsicus lividus, it used to be).

    Thank you for your thoughts.After comparing it with lots of google images I have come to the conclusion that it is the Helleborus argutifolius.

    I'm only just discovering hellebores and the more I see the more I like them.Sadly my garden is not ideal for them...
