Last Fall, I planted some seeds that I "stole" from a Lily of the Nile plant. But what came up, I was soon to find out here, wasn't Lily of the Nile at all.
While at Ace Hardware yesterday, I saw plants identical of what I have growing. There were a couple of varieties, both labeled Coreopsis. I looked on line but didn't see any photos of seedlings. So.... is this really what I have?

This surprise plant still mystifies me.
Have no clue where it came from.... there's none growing anywhere near me.
Guess some nice little birdies planted them?

It does look like some species of Coreopsis but I don't know which one. I did find this photo but there is no name with it.....other than Coreopsis

Guess with a little more time we'll be able to properly ID it when it flowers.
At least now, I know it's not a weed! ;)
