Got this half tank from a friend and he said it's Rose Moss. I can't tell if it or not. I asked him if it bloomed and he said he didn't know or can't remember. This container is packed with it!

They don't look that long. Maybe they're just packed in there too tight.

Sure is a pretty ground cover at this point. Hope it is moss rose, that would be a striking container draped in flowers

Packed in tight and getting a lot of sun could make a difference in how plants look. I don't know of any other plant that has the common name of Moss Rose but you never know.

I think it is gorgeous the way it is, whatever it is. Guess we have to wait to see if it blooms and what they look like. Unless someone more familiar with the plant can help here.

It looks like a sedum to me. I have one that has a yellow flower on it in the summer. Very short succulent leaf on a very short stem. It looks much like a carpet.

I agree with Carolyn. Looks like a Sedum ground cover I have that has little yellow flowers.

Whatever it is... I like the way it looks in your rustic setting. Can't wait to see if/how it blooms because I'd love to find some of it around here.

It was speading all over his ground, under some trees and between rock, so it was in the shade and I just found out Moss Rose needs full sun. Cheryl, if you want some PM your address and I'll send you some.

Thanks Okie, but I don't have much space for shade loving plants. But I'll definitely keep your offer in mind!

Okietriker, I think you have sedum and not moss rose, especially if you have it now outside all over the place. Moss rose is an annual flowering succulent that wouldn't be growing for you right now.

And, I think you're right! Now I need to start a rock garden and use it around there!

Yep it's exactly the same as the sedum I have in my own garden.
