Just when I was sure that it would not rain this year i Karachi - In comes this totally unexpected storm front during the night. Providing is with continuous rain until daybreak! So here are some pictures which I have taken (just a few minutes ago). It is no longer raining, but I believe there will be more to come within the next few hours!
    :stew1:

OK, this is what the sky looks like right now:

Alright, now just have a look at with else my camera caught this early in the morning! Take for example this female House Crow feeding her chick:

And this here is another new bird which I don't often get to see. It is about half the size of a sparrow, but makes a very laud tweeting sound. Not at all unpleasant. It comes only to suck nectar from some flowers.

An ant in a panic, not knowing where to go as from it's point of view, this is something like Noah's flood!

My neighbor's front yard, and the yellow flower vine he grows on his wall.

Some of my plants which now seem to be waltzing after the rain, including a wild vine growing at the back.

And finally, the one only down side of rain, is that the misty air has right now made my laser tripwire security system,(which I built myself), visible to the naked eye...

I would LOVE to see the sky filled with clouds like those, glad your rainy season has finally begun.

What is that yellow flower vine? That is really pretty.

I think my neighbor is growing Ridge Gourd. That's what the yellow flowers are going to become (I think).

Congratulations on your rain! :D I hope you'll get just the right amount and not as much as to cause flooding. I really liked the ant photo and the crows.

So happy for you S-H. :D Your garden must have sighed with relief to have all that lovely rain. Those clouds look just like the ones we have here in Scotland on an almost daily basis. I hope they produce more rain for you and don't just pass over.
I really like that Poinsettia and the way you've managed to catch the crow and other wildlife in your photographs.

Those clouds are just a lovely sight. Wish we could get some over here. I'm sure all your plants and flowers loved getting a good ol' drink.

Those clouds still look like they are loaded and ready to rain down - hope you see more rain.
It must have been dishartining to think that your
    rainy season passed you by.

Usually it starts at around early June, and lasts till late August (sometimes up to mid September too).

By the way, it rained for the who day yesterday - But it was on and off, not regular downpour. And it also drizzled the whole night.

Right now it's a little after sunrise, but the sky is still as it was yesterday morning (when I took the pictures). So I hope to get even more rain! :)

I do however really miss a good hard thunderstorm with lots of lightning...
