We're doing the happy dance here. It rained and it rained and it thundered and it lightninged and it rained and it rained for almost five hours. Sometimes light and sometimes heavy but always wet. Chance and I sat out on the long covered front porch and enjoyed it. It's only in the 70's today and it feels mighty cool after those 100 plus days we've had for a couple of months. Rain is in the forecast for the next five days also. Hope we get a lot of it everyday. Everything is so brown and crunchy that it won't be enough but we'll take all we can get. Hope you all have a nice day. dooley

We got just a sprinkle today. Nothing like what you got... but we'll take it!

Well I am really happy also! My rain gauge was almost an inch! It rained pretty good for about an hour. I guess after raining five hours at dooley's and Glenda's and headed east 80 miles, it ran out of rain. We had a high of 91. Would love something in the 70's. Hopefully we will get another round! :p

There's only a few clouds this morning so we are off to the farmer's market today. It might rain this afternoon. Temps will be about 95. Still better than what we have been having. dooley

I am doing the "Happy Dance" also! t has rained 3 days this week in Huntsville! The brown grass has a hint of green, (guess I'll have to get the mower back now) I have 2 barrels of rain water and felt like a child playing in the rain 2 of those days. Does anyone have to know our true age here? LOL!

We had a thunder storm this afternoon but only a brief shower with it. dr says he sees lightning in the distance so maybe we will have another shot at some rain. Everything is still crunchy and brown. dooley
