Bought a Yard Gard and within ten minutes there was not a squirrel or a bird in my yard. Birds started to coming back after two days. Now maybe I will finally get some tomatoes. It is either electric or battery and can be set for different animals. I was leery of my cats but they seem to be ok with it. Some people can be very sensitive to them also. We had company on Sat. and one person could not stand it. He was the only one that could hear any noise. He said it was giving him a headache so we shut it off until he left. Amazon is where it came from.
Hmmm... I don't care to chase my birdies away. I bet my dogs would hear it and yowl like mad. I might be one of those who could hear it too. Do they let you try it before you buy it ?
Donna, Please elaborate on this item. We have a "bark box" for the dog, which emits an ultrasonic noise when she barks and is only annoying to the dog.
