It's A Wonderful Life

Just finished watching our favorite Christmas movie, It's a Wonderful Life. Of course, once again, we saw Zuzu's Petals.

And Zuzu still has a pocket full of petals all these years later. She has built a career on Zuzu and petals.
I, like you, Frank, have not seen the movie either and it was not until a newspaper story a couple days ago that I knew what it/she was.

 

I still dont know whay ZUZU Petals are

 

Ya gotta watch the movie, "It's a Wonderful Life."

She's in it.

 

We watched it last night and didn't get the Zuzu's petals until just now.

 

Gee I didn't know ZuZu was that old, or that she was a movie star,or that she knew James Stewart

 

I've seen it only once - it was very cute, though I like some of James Stewart's other films better. We chose his "Shop Around the Corner" instead, also set at Christmas. We love it!

 

Zuzu is your age, Richard. Scary, isn't it? In fact, I think she might be younger.

 

Awww, my #1 MUST SEE Christmas time movie.

In George Bailey's journey of discovery and redemption,
he finds his little daughter's crushed flower in his pocket at the pivotal moment.

To me "Zuzu's petals" represent a moment of epiphany, and the gift of a second chance,
an opportunity to live one's life with new appreciation.
