    That is cool. But I just don't like cherry tomatoes... can I choose one of the big ones?
    :)

    And to answer your question, since potato makes more shoots, we could graft an eggplant on one of them.

    One tomato, one eggplant and some ornamental Solanum? :)

    I just got T&M's catalogue the other day and this was one of the plants they had for sale. We grow both potatoes and tomatoes but I doubt I'll be purchasing this plant. I'll wait to see what others think of it before I'm convinced that it's a good idea.

    The key words to me were: "but the yield might be lower than individual tomato or potato plants". Due to my excessive shade in the garden, I struggle to get just a few tomatoes before frost strikes them down! Taxing the plant by trying to produce a double crop of sorts sounds to me like I wouldn't produce anything.

    But, if I had a garden with plenty of sun, I might be willing to try it if the price were right.

    Are you going to try it Jerry?
