My poor old pickem up truck is broke! Last Sat. the township had a clean up day. They bring in several large dumsters to the fire house and anyone that lives in the township can dump there junk etc in it for free! I hauled two loads up there. Well one of the loads caused the rear leaf spring front bracket to break. The right one looks like it is about ready to. I got a rough estimate on it to get both of them replaced and it's going to be about $700 to replace them. I take it in tomorrow for an exact estimate and for them to start the work. Poor old thing. But other than a new catalytic converter, that's all that I have every had to have fixed on it!

Poor truck - that last load must have been too much for her. :( I hope the garage can fix her up without charging you too much more the the $450 for the work. Well worth it though if it keeps her running smoothly. :-D

Thats a lot of money but if it will fix your pick up its so worth it.

There's something about a man and his pick up, just like there's something about a man and his dog, or a man and his beer, or a man and his tools, or a man and his easy chair, or a man and his favorite hat. After all, a man can do lots of stuff with a pickup. I understand, I even named my pickup. "Oll Blue" and me do lots of stuff together. Spare no expense Capt. K!!

Oh, I feel for you. I miss my old pickem up truck. It was the sorriest looking thing you ever did see but hauled all the manure, top soil, stumps, etc so faithfully.
I hope yours is up and running soon!
