    awwww, thanks. I actually... *gasp* ... can you imagine?... I worked. how exciting. then at the end of the day I had a birthday picnic with a family from church who wanted to come and celebrate. one of the boys sits with me at church... he is one of three 5 year olds in the family. between foster children and adopted children they are busy. it was a great day.

    no cake Netty. Not a cake eater. now brownies and ice cream... yum. but cake ... oh that frosting! shudders. My brother ordered one for my mom and dad for their anniversary and it was beautiful... but it was like eating shortening laced with sugar.... but it was beautiful.

    I get it on the icing. It's like eating flavored lard.

    On the other hand, there's this place that Paige orders the kids' birthday cakes from. They do a buttercream icing....OMG! It tastes NOTHING like the kind of icing you get on cakes and such from the grocery store. It's the kind of thing you could just scoop into a bowl and eat by itself. YUM!
