The workers are done, and have left, after I paid them! Here is what the finished product looks like. The garden area ties the wall and the patio together really well.

That looks great, I am glad you have it finished, I hope you think it was worth the money, it sure looks it. I will look forward to seeing what you plant in the bed by the wall, I am sure you will have fun with that.

Ohhhh, that came out looking great. What will be in the planter next year? All one type of flower like your Autumn Joy bed or an assortment?

In the upper bed, my wife is thinking mabe Babys Breath. Something really light and see through. There will be at least one Bleeding Heart in the lower, thinking maybe 2.

What a big improvement on what was there before!! :-D I love it and you're right the garden area ties everything together so well. I'm glad the weather stayed fine for the project to be completed and I'll look forward to seeing photographs of the planting you decide to put into both areas.

Tuesday night and yesterday we had showers, got about 1/2 inch of rain. The ground was so dry that it sucked it up and you would not have known it had rained. They did have to dry the blocks off this morning so the caps could be glued. Total time with 2 pewople working on it was 2 1/3 days.

Very nice and looks like a different yard. What is the purplish looking bush/shrub up above it?

That monster is my fall Aster that is just about done blooming. I thought about cutting it back yesterday, but the bees are still at it, so I left it alone. That is the last blooming plant that I have.
