Thank you one and all for the birthday wishes. Despite it raining all day it was a good day for us. It started with breakfast at our favorite place. We then went to the thrift shop which is one of our stops each time we go town. I got lots of good wishes from there. We visited some other places that are on our regular route. We finally made it home. We went and picked up our mail about 1:30 and continued on to Huntsville where we had lunch and then went present shopping. I picked out a few things that someone else paid for and we came home. I had a fun time eating and shopping and spending time with some good friends. We had supper at home. I was ready for a rest after spending the day out and about. I still have some birthday "money" so maybe tomorrow we'll try again to spend it. It's fun to shop when it's a special day. It won't be raining tomorrow. Lunch was a good time. We had one of our favorite people waiting our table. I did try not to eat too much. I had some ice cream but skipped the cake. I had a chocolate cookie instead. That works, right! So, another year is starting and it will be a good one. Lots of things planned. dooley
