It's finally blooming!

    The plant is 2 years old but this is the first it's bloomed. There are about 10 more buds that will be opening any day now.

    That is such a pretty flower. I love Hibiscus wonder why it took two years to bloom? Guess it could be the difference in climate between where you are and here.

    The boom is actually a lot darker than what the picture shows. Almost a dark rose red.

    The flower in the background with the pink center really makes the Hibiscus look so good, it brings out the color.

    Very beautiful flower, Captain! I had a hibiscus that was supposed to be that color, but it turned out white. It turned out to be a victim of the heat/drought anyway.
