On this day in 1941 I entered the world at 12:01 am. I missed being a New Year's baby by 2 minutes. My father wasn't happy because he wanted a tax deduction. I also missed out on the goodies given to New Year's babies. But, I've hit a milestone birthday now. Despite the odds I'm still going about and causing "trouble." dooley
Thank you for the birthday wishes. We had a good day with sunshine and temps in the 30's. Some of our snow is starting to melt. Our son and his family came at noon and took us to lunch. It was a super nice restaurant that we hadn't been to before. Andy said they have a more upscale menu at night but I thought the menu was okay myself. We had a good time visiting and I had good wishes from our other two boys today, too. dooley

A big happy birthday to you! Did you have a number of family round on your birthday? Since moving back there, the things that you can do on your birthday may be slightly different than in Texas. What sorts of things did you and DR get up to?
Our son and his family came and took us to a very nice place for lunch. We had a good time and a great meal. Then, after we got back home we sat for a bit and then we went and caught a bus and rode around to a few places. All of our bus friends wished me a Happy Birthday! Today we are going to our son's house for a "Football Party." Lots of food and fun will be had by all. dooley
