It's National Limerick Day!

To honor limericks--a disparaged form of poetry-- here is a small offering:

A virus has ravaged the Earth

We are told to give all a wide berth

Then buy disinfectant

To use as injectant

I was about to do something which required my complete and undivided attention... However, now I can't stop laughing!

Can you imagine the end of Corona?

When we all emerge from our coma

Oh what a fright

When we all unite

Wild haired and fat and sober ?

 

Sober ?? well maybe not !
Both are right !
