    Woah, that is weird.
    I wonder what happened in 1721, 1821, 1921?

That's actually just the recent history of humanity... There have been serious pandemics before also. Clues for which can be found in religious books, (as before recorded history that's all we have to go by). As well as anthropological study.

Of course, today the global population is over 7 billion people - And anybody can travel to anywhere in the world in 24 hours. So obviously, that complicates everything a lot.

However, the thing to remember is that humanity always wins in the end. No pandemic, no matter how deadly. Was never successful at finishing off human population. If anything, humanity always came out of it stronger than ever before! But of course, after a lot of suffering...

    Well done, mate.
It is sometimes good to look back to keep reality in perspective...and to realise that history will repeat itself given half a chance. It is a bit disheartening to see that we were not better prepared and that there are those who are so antisocial as to ignore the suggestions of the professionals.
