Oh, You are so fortunate. For all the rain we had this spring, we are now bone dry and hot and humid. we could use a couple inches very easily. Just not as fast as some of the previous rains we have had. just a nice slow gentle soaker.

All the flowers are gorgeous with the raindrops on them.

    Hi Carolyn,
when we get rain there is no guarantee it will stop for days on end,..our average rainfall is approx 2 inches per month,..and total for the year is 27.36 inches.

With all that rain your garden flowers have made their own spectacular rainbow of color. Careful Philip! A leprechaun may move in as you already have a pot of gold.

Philip...Your yearly average rainfall is almost the same as what we're behind right now for the year.
And oh yeah... your garden/blooms sure are pretty wearing rain drops!

    Oh, rain!
    I want rain!
Last Friday night, thunder and lightning... a real storm and it really rained in the city. But the next morning I called dad in the country (only 10 km away) and he said... it just sprinkled a bit. :(
It just ruined my weekend. I was thinking wow... rain. wet garden. Plants will come back to life. DREAMS!

Beautiful blooms...love the first Rose with the rain drops on it.
We finally got a bit of rain this morning - not enough, but every bit helps.

Sounds like our weather is similar. We've had a slow drizzle for over a week now with only a little over an inch of rain. This is usually our dry season, but not this year. We get about 50 inches of rain a year. Thankfully we never have triple digit weather for multiple days like what is happening in the central US.

    Rusty Nulty??? Sjoerd ?? (giggle)

    Lovely photos Philip

You and us are having the same sort of weather Philip and I have to say, I am getting rather fed up with it, but then we are never pleased. It wasn't that along ago it was as dry as a bone, now everywhere is like a swamp. I can't keep up with the weeding, but boy the plants are loving it and blooming like mad.

Oh he is still here Jerry, :D ,..and thankfully he pays his way, ;) .

    -----------------------------------------------------

    Hi Cheryl,
its a pity we all don't have shared rain and sun mixed with a slight breeze from time to time,..when required!,..instead of too much of either,..we are into our second day of rain,..but i still manage to do doggy walks.

    ----------------------------------------------------

Hi Calin,..amazing how it rains so close to you but not exactly where you are,..i remember quite often watching rain start where i was on the lake,..i would head away from it Faaaaaast and not get wet.

    ----------------------------------------------------

Hi Netty,..even a little rain does help!,..though more is needed.

    ----------------------------------------------------

Hi Sjoerd,..lol about Rusty Nulty,..its the "ty" at the end the gives it the ring of course,..though there are many things i have gone rusty doing,..Boating is the main,..we are not getting Boating weather here.

    Bunkie,..Jewell,..EJ,..don't encourage Sjoerd,..though i might,..yeah Rusty,..better than Lusty i suppose, .

    ---------------------------------------------------

Jewell,..i agree with the weather conditions comparison,..lots of drizzle,..heavy drizzle i might add,..it sure makes Ferns and the like grow,..but i would like to dry out,..just to get dug in and do maintenance,..dripping drops down the back of the nexk is uncomfortable.

Some pictures i took about 15 minutes ago.

    Hi Cheryl,
that's my Hydrangea,..what would have threw you off was the pink,..yours would mostly be blue.

It's a beauty. And I have no Hydrangeas... blue or otherwise. I don't think they'd survive in my zone 9a climate.
If I could grow them... I'd had a hard time choosing between your pink and the "normal" blue ones!
