I looked outside and it's snowing. It's starting to cover everything. The forecast says we might get one to two inches. This is only the second snow we've gotten since we moved to Texas. I was very happy without the snow. I guess some people will like it but I lived too many years with snow and could live for a few more years without snow. Two inches! That will come to the top of my shoes. Guess I should dig out my high top shoes. Or maybe a better idea would be to just stay in the house until it melts.

Still just rain down here. I'd rather snow than ice. What I could do without... the wind! Brrrrrrrrr
I'm getting a kick out of watching the weather forecasters... they seem so excited to have something to talk about besides mild weather and drought conditions. :D

Still no snow here in Scotland which is very unusual.

Thanks for the weather update there. hahaha. Ach, what to do with all that snow. I recall that you once said that you once lived somewhere in Wisconsin. I have passed through there in the winter and I recall how bitterly cold and snowy it can get there...so I can perfectly understand that you could do without the white stuff for awhile.

Well miss, if you stay inside there is plenty to do--your sewing, the telly, computering and perhaps you could dig out an old 1000+ piece puzzel. I rteally like those days that I stay inside and just potter about with this 'n that.
Keep us updated on the snow and your activities there, will you?

Sorry about the snow Dooley. I have cabin fever really bad. I don't own a pair of boots so I can't even go for a walk. Snow is to deep. Maybe I will just go shopping today.

Sounds like a perfect excuse to stay inside Dooley! We are getting hit with another winter storm tonight so I have already been out in the bitter cold to bring in a few days of firewood. I went grocery shopping yesterday so I might just go into hibernation myself!

Yeah, I'd be inside if it was snowing. It's lovely to look at but personally I hate when it melts inside my shoes. ;)

Toni... we got just a little rain yesterday (haven't ventured outside yet to check the gauge). It was so needed. Burn bans in effect all over. We didn't get any snow, but did get a little sleet early this morning. We're pretty frosty still. I guess any precipitation at this point is a good thing.

So that's where our snow went! You can have it all, I really don't need it now. :D

I hope you all stayed warm and comfy indoors.

No, no, no! No snow boots. The snow is almost melted. I found a pair of hiking boots that I wore yesterday. One snowfall every five years is all that we are allowed. Since I don't go hiking the boots will last that long. Thanks anyway!
