I know it's spring here. It's too warm for winter and not hot enough for summer. Weeds are growing. I'm digging and planting things. It's been raining for six weeks or more. Isn't that spring. Well, when I was walking around the yard yesterday I found two more signs of spring. One of our peach trees: Spring time tree ( photo / image / picture from dooley's Garden ) and a bud on one of the rose bushes: Roses are getting ready to bloom, spring is here ( photo / image / picture from dooley's Garden ) One more: Little rabbit finally found some lettuce: These little rabbits finally found some lettuce ( photo / image / picture from dooley's Garden ) Doesn't these things mean spring? dooley
If that's not spring... then I don't know what is! :-D My apple tree has lots of blossoms... nothing on the peach tree yet. And the irises are about to bloom. Already had to mow the grass. No sign of freezing temps for the next week. So... yep... I say spring is here!
Spring in Texas. Now we will have new flowers to enjoy. And veggies if the rabbits don't eat them. Jerry
It's getting to be spring A lot of bulbs are coming up.The snow bells are in bloom, with lots of other greens poking out, I am excited to see what comes up. This is our first year here, with a 50+ y.o garden, there has to be some good things! Then I can plan my re-garden around what comes up. My honey suckle has little leaves, I am itching to get out there and start planting! I wish the nurseries had some flowers already. It's finally sunny today, so I'll get out there and do a little more clean up after work.
