Its time - Broadbeans and peas

    I was up the allotment yeaterday, and the broadbeans are up and had a feed and the first early peas have gone in, we weeded the fruit beds and cut the grass on the paths around the plots. Its starting to wake up and look more like a lottie now :) we have to move the greenhouse next to the polytunnel and then put a couple of new raised beds in where it was then everything is in place at last !!!

    How do those grass paths cope with the traffic after a few wet days, flowerofshona.
    A lot of the allotments I have visited have bark or wood chip paths

    It sounds like things are happening there. I would like to see some pics. Shifting things will be hard graft, but so worth it when you're done.
