I've worked almost steady this week and have a bit more done. I have the Christmas presents about half done, five more to go. I can start getting them in the mail so they won't be getting there in March. That has happened in the past and the family came to expect me to always be late. But, now I'm not working full time and still trying to get things done. How did I do it then? Guess I didn't. Little Bears tree is up, not as large a layout as last year but still it's up. We've had a little bear tree since 1988. It's the same tree so it's looking a little ragged but it's some of the same bears so it's okay. One a little closer. I found a place to hang the larger swag. It's a little crooked I think. It looks like it might take off in the wind. I have the tree up and have been hanging decorations on it off and on all week. Today, I took all the boxes and put them back in the closet. It's done! dr put some packages under it. I haven't done any shopping yet. I haven't made cookies yet but it's supposed to be raining tomorrow so maybe I will do it then. We can't set up at the farmer's market in the rain. Ugh! It's rained every Friday since Thanksgiving. Except last Friday when it too windy and COLD! No one in his right mind would have stopped and got out to look at anything. dr made me a circle for a wreath so I want to get that done in the next couple of days. Besides branches and a bow I have no idea what to put on it. Guess I'd better get my thinking cap put on my head. Maybe it will keep it warm. dooley
Your bear tree, big tree and all the decorations are so pretty and festive. I have cookies, brownies and 'chex mix' to make. And I haven't done my shopping yet either, dooley.

I really love you bear tree Dooley and all those little teddies seem so pleased to have it beside them. I've done most things for Christmas (except food shopping and decorating our cottage) so, for a change I'm almost organised.
I have a soft spot for bears at Christmas... not sure why... your bear tree is so cute... you have ALOT of bears. I have done a big NO thing to prepare for Christmas. I did make an Advent wreath. You decors look fabulous, Dooley.
Your Christmas display is lovely, Dooley. I feel like diving in there and cuddle your bears. I do like that crooked swath. It has life and personality. Very nice.
