Ian and I went to the Gardening Scotland Show in Edinburgh today. I took my camera with me, I took plenty of batteries with me, I even emptied the card so that I could take loads of piccies to show you all but......... I forgot to charge the batteries up!! Ian did, however, get plenty of piccies with his 35mm SLR camera but we have to get the film developed before I can show you the exhibits from the show. I was ever so good as I didn't take my purse into the grounds with me but then Ian went and offered me £20 to spend on whatever I wanted!!!! You've never seen anyone move soooo fast!!! I bought 4 clematis (all 4 for £11) a beautiful new plant called White Robin (just like Ragged Robin but pure white) and 2 bulbs so that I can grow gorgeous black and white pitcher plants from them which are fully hardy. I'll take piccies of them tomorrow once the batteries are charged again. I also came back with a sunburned face, (which will peel of course) feet that felt as though someone was hitting the soles of them with a hammer, a raging thirst for a cool drink of water and covered in midge bites. Was it worth it? Definately!!!
That's our Eileen! I can imagine the amazing speed blur that you made when Ian handed you the £20 Super Eileen! Welcome back, looking forward to piccies !!
