Ive got watermelons! :D

    A few years ago, I tried growing watermelons. I had one get to about the size of a softball, then the dogs we had at the time decided it woudl make a nice chew toy. So I never got anything that year. I decided to try again this year (now that I have space to plant!). The first set of seedlings I planted really havent done anything. So I decided to plant another batch. Its the 2nd batch that has taken off :)

    Fantastic!! This would have been a great year for me to try growing melons ... it has been a hot one!

    Hi Jen,
    congrats to you,..its almost like,.. if at first you don't succeed,..try and try and try again,..so third time lucky,..the real enjoyment will be when you start eating your own produce.
