I had never heard of these before but found a package of 36 at Home Depot early this spring. I haven't counted but I think all of them have grown and now they are all blooming. I spaced them too far apart, it makes them look pretty sparse.

These are very nice-looking all right. I can imagine them in a clump too. Well Toni, sparse or not-- they are a lovely flower.

Love the stamens on them. I've never seen them available here, and I'm sure they'd be an annual by us. Do they have a fragrance?

They're so pretty! I've grown them, but they're not hardy so I had to bring them inside in autumn and plant them back out in spring. Then one autumn frost was very early, and that was that. I'm glad I get to enjoy yours, Toni.

Cute little guys :p If they are a corm or bulb I bet you they will spread out and fill in before you know it!

Some varieties of the Ixia are called Corn Lily?? Don't know why, don't even know what variety I have since the package didn't give any thing but the name and pictures of pink ones....these don't look pink to me ;)

They are a bulb, so spreading out is what I am hoping they will do. I planted them where they will have plenty of room to multiply several times since I didn't realize they would be such skinny plants.
