I know others here have grown arisaema triphyllum that might help with the identification of some variations that have come with bulbs I acquired last year. A couple came up with flower color I expected. Others did not. Sorry in advance that the photos aren't very clear. They are still quite small and I difficulties getting the right angle and distance.

    Unexpected color .. What am I ( photo / image / picture from Jewell's Garden )

My main concern is that I had read somewhere there was a very invasive variety. Just wondering what this 2nd Jack-in-the-Pulpit might be? Thanks in advance for any ideas.

To be honest, I can't tell a lot from that foto. I don't mean to be rude.
I really cannot see the markings well from over this side.

Could it be the, ARISAEMA AMURENSE ssp.amurense?

    Could you send more pics?

Thanks Sjoerd for the reply. It was cloudy today so hopefully these photos will be better. Even in half light the green jacks are photographing rather transparent.

I still have 2 or 3 that haven't opened yet so am wondering what they will look like.

I haven't a clue but they are pretty! I like the green better than the purple :p

They sure are attractive! I can just imagine them in your woodland garden Jewell. Very nice.

Someone on the Stew has been battling an invasive arisaema, but it looks very different from yours.

Thanks CM. I vaguely remembered that post and was concerned. These are first year blooms so are small.
