Jewel started to open yesterday. And she is giving me a little extra joy. She has a very sweet scent.

Very beautiful. I must go out and look see if something is blooming in the greenhouse. Maybe, if I am lucky.

Good for you Donna. She is a beautiful one. Nice that she smells, too.

I just found mine is starting to pop a leaf out of the bulb. It would have helped had I brought it in the heated greenhouse before Jan., though. I am amazed at how huge the bulb is getting. How old are yours? do you keep any of them for an extended period of time?

    Thanks all.
Carolyn, I keep all mine. Some I plant in the garden and they have always come back. Most of those are at least 7-8 years old. But after all these days and days of cold I might not be so lucky this spring. Ballarina, hot lips and jewel are all new so will baby them for a couple of years. I have three more getting ready to bloom.

Lovely! I've never had one with scent so I didn't think they existed. Now I know.
