    tons of these flowers in the woods near work, also noticed a few at chelsea this year . . . not sure what it is :-D

    I think that is the plant Allium ursinum{Wild Garlic} :-|

    i think you've nailed it theodorus. . . thats definately it :-D

    the flowers do look very similar to the star of bethlehem . . .thanks guys :-D

    I think we eat the leaves in early spring way before flowering.
    I don't...so no idea how.
    I ate some leaves when I wandered through forests... very garlic-y taste!
