The hummingbirds were quite active, so of course they flew away as soon as I stepped outside with my camera. So...a few flower photos got taken instead. It's terribly hot and humid right now, so I didn't get a yard walk around done recently. I believe this is Speedwell (Veronica) Bee Balm Coneflowers Jackmannii
I really must get around to buying some bee balm seeds. I like you Jackmannii - such a wonderful colour!! :-D
Lovely colours! I especially like the pink bee balm. Ours is red, and nice, but they're such lovely plants so I'd love to have more of them.
You are good with that camera Oh, by the way...the columbine seeds you sent me last summer have popped up Deanna :-D
What excellent clear photos and the flowers are just as gorgeous to boot! I have speedwell also but have yet to see it bloom. Alas, I think the ants have taken it over *sighs* Your Monarda looks very healthy! I have purple ones in the front flowerbed that look like they should be getting buds soon. Thanks for sharing!
Wonderful shots as always Pianolady. Say...how about a shot of that Clematis in the background of the photo of the Coneflowers?
