Hi everyone, I know I haven't been around in a while. There's been a lot of drama around here, teenagers, you know.

I had the last of my dental work done today, except for the dentures, and that won't be till several months down the road. I feel fantastic since most of the infection is out of my system, lots of energy and my pain level is so low. It used to be a rare day when I was pain free, now every day, so far, is good. I hurt, but not severely. I have a bone disease and arthritis, which is the source of the pain.

I have all of my daylilies that were given to me in pots and they all look good. I haven't gotten my soil yet to make the new bed, but I'm working on it. I ended up with 104 daylilies, all different cultivars and they are all beautiful, I can't pick a favorite, although I am partial to the pinks, imagine that.

I won't bore you any longer, just wanted to let everyone know I was still alive and kicking.

Hello there Sharon!! Boy, is it good to hear from you. It sounds like you have had alot on your plate just lately.

It reckon that things are slowly coming together in the garden with your day lilies....gosh, so many. You ought to take a pic of all those plants--I'll bet is remarkable to see.

I hope that you won't stay away so long next time.

No rest if you're planting 104 daylilies. I'm exhausted just thinking about it. Can't wait to see photos when they bloom next spring :)

I have been wondering about you. Glad to hear you are feeling better. Your daylily 'garden' must be a sight for sore eyes.

How is your 'fence' of headboards coming along? Would love to see a picture of that along with the daylilies.

Don't be a stanger in the future! :p

Thanks everyone, it's good to be back in action, lol.

Droopy, I have no shortage of room, but I don't have good soil, so we have to have some hauled in, and it's a bit expensive.

Sjoerd, I do have a pic, will try to get it posted later.

Gaylyn, I only have the 3 head boards so far, I need one more full size one to get it started, then I can add the rest as I find them, just haven't had time to go to the thrift stores and garage sales, but it will all come together eventually.

I can't wait to see them in bloom either, and I hope my headboard bed turns out good, I think it will.

If I don't get them in the ground this fall they will be ok. They are all in individual pots, big pots so the have plenty of room to grow big healthy roots and they will transplant very nicely I think. I am really excited about this and keep finding more ideas to do. lol

I really like this combo and I have this daylily:

Hey Sharon. It's always good news when someone says they are finally pain-free and feeling great so YAY! I like that daylilly/hydrangea combo too -- I have orange lillies in front of blue hydrangea. Love the white too.... gives me ideas...
