It has been a very wet and cloudy winter. Yesterday it was sunny and 50 so I decided to head over to a local park for some fresh air. After my walk, I grabbed my camera and headed over to the pond to visit the ducks. They were enjoying the sunny day too. Their green heads were changing color in the sunlight... shades of blue, purple and green.

While I was photographing the ducks, I noticed a Great Blue Heron land across the pond. The mallards followed me down to get in the photo.

Glad you all enjoyed my outing. Thanks Philip, Carolyn, Cheryl, Jerry and Toni for your comments.
Toni, the head colors are gorgeous when they are in the sunlight.
