I am just about to go to bed and know full well that as soon as my head hits the pillow I am going to start coughing. I have a horrid little cold, which is all under my eyes and has left me with a dry, tickly cough. GRRR. I worked today and then took the kids swimming this evening, which I know I shouldn't have done but they were so keen, so now I am going to suffer. Just wanted to have a moan....good night all, taking my snotty nose and cough to bed. :(

As soon a fall hits, for the past few years I have gotten this dry cough. This year I tried some herbal tea that I had around. Since then I haven't had that cough as bad to almost gone. Its something to try-warm tea before bedtime. hope this helps. Hope you feel better soon.

Oh dear! It really stinks getting a cold and still trying to live normally. You need to pamper yourself EJ, and get those kids pampering you too!

EJ, I hope this morning finds you feeling much better.
The prolonged summer temps are causing some really long alergy attacks around here....coughing, blowing, sneezing...all those 'fun' things

Hope you are feeling better today EJ. Nothing worse than a tickly cough when you are trying to sleeeeeeeeeeeep.

Keep warm and ease up for a couple of days.

EJ - Prayers go out from me that you have sweet restful sleep tonight.

    Sjoerd . . . lol . . . your card is too funny . . .

Petunia - I have had a cough off and on since August . . . I worked in some moldy files at work for three weeks before then. What kind of herbal tea is good . . . a cup before bed sounds wonderful! ;)

Aww, thanks for all of your kind words you lovely lot. I did have a better night, but I had to work today and boy was I cold, and the rain came in which didn't help, so I got home and got warm. Still got the throat and still coughing but I don't feel quite so low. Gotta work again tomorrow, but only a half day which isn't so bad. I do have a cup of tea before bed which helps for a while. Fingers crossed I get a good full night tonight and then hopefully I will start to shake this bug off.
