Just wanted to share a few pictures of my flowers. The amaryllis pic is from last year along with the dracena marginata and the pic of annual verbena and petunia.

    Thanks for looking.

Brent, What nice plants you have there. I can tell that you are a true plant lover. I especially love the pretty colorful planter with Petunias and Verbena. Bet it smells good!
It is very special to care for a plant that was received as a memorial.
My son age 28, is really getting into houseplants. I have been growing plants indoors and out his entire life (actually longer) and he never seemed interested, so I love that he has been bitten by the gardening bug! :stew1:

Thanks. I'm 22, but i find it so fun to see things grow and progress. The pothos was the first plant i got for my apartment so for it to only be a little more then two yrs i'm proud of how much its grown. My mom would always pick about me having a green thumb and that everything i stick in the ground seems to come up lol but i'm still trying to get to her level. We also seem to have different things that we can grow better than one another. So if one of us cant grow something we just give it to the other lol. I'm going to try and get her on this forum also cause i'm sure she would love it. If you dont mind here is but a sample of her work. ;)

    Hi Brent and welcome.
That first photo, as some of the others have said, is wonderful. The colors just "work together". I bet that Jasmine's fragrance is heavenly. Hey... I have a couple stands just like your blue one with the Pothos. Wow... is it ever gorgeous! Thanks for showing us your plants... they all look so healthy and happy!
I think it's great that you and your mom switch out plants. That area of her garden is fantastic. Hope you convince her to join us here... and hope you show us more results of that green thumb of yours. :stew2:

Thanks, Cherylad. I got the stand from my mom. It was black but i found a pretty blue at wal mart to cover it. I was kinda scared it would tip over when i first got it but its been holding out for me since i've had it. I have been wondering however should i add another flower that blooms to one of the bottom shelves, but maybe thats just me wanting to find another excuse to pot something lol.

My stands were black when I first got them too. I painted them a blue almost exactly like yours... but now they are green to match my potting table.
I understand you wanting to add another plant on one of the shelves (any excuse for another plant right?).... but I think your Ivy there, alone, makes a grand statement. Have you thought of just adding some knick-knacks there instead?
But then again... maybe some more flowers would work too! :-D

You know i never thought about something like the little gardening statues to add to the shelves. the next time i'm out, i'm going to see if i can find some of the little hanging figures and see how one or two would look hanging off the edge of the bottom two shelves. Thanks for the idea.

Thanks KK Ng... And if you're talking about the white and blue flower with stripes, its actually an iris. I was pretty surprised myself to find that out lol.
