Just sharing a photo of a Monarch Butterfly

    This year I counted over 18 different butterflies. Wanted to share this one. This Monarch had just emerged from it's chrysalis and was drying it's wings on the pine tree.

    Lovely photo. The butterfly really stands out. :stew2:

    I sort of feel that the bright orange in the pine tree is totally wrong. :D Like somebody put a plastic toy in there just for fun.

    Thanks everyone! I have more photos of other butterflies in my yard just have to get them re-sized to share. I wanted so bad to catch the Monarch emerging the chrysalis it was on the side of my garden shed...but I just missed it!
