Just wanted to share some pictures of a few things in my garden. I didn't want to share the whole garden because of the way it looks from the heat damage.

This is my cage with zebra finches. The other cage is empty.

This is my bird feeder my hubby made me. The boards going across the bottom has screen and wire on the bottom so I can fill it up. The birds love it. Also that is a couple of the birdhouse gourds I grew last year.

These are the bird baths I made myself using elephant ear leaves as a mold.

Well just thought I would share.

    Thanks for looking.

Great photos KK. I know what you mean about heat damage, I have lost several plants during the last two months from the heat and drought.

I was looking forward to using some Elephant Ear leaves for some hypertufa birdbaths this year but the EE didn't do well this year, maybe next year.

Could you show a more detailed picture of the birdfeeder? I think I need to show them to my husband and ask him to make me one.

great picts. How do your birds cope when it gets cold? Way to go on growing & making your own bird houses & bird baths. I've got to look into doing something about a bird bath next year.

I just cover the cage with plastic. When it gets really freezing I put a light in there with them.

Nice to see these pics to see how it goes there. That pond is somethin' else! I assume that you made that yourself. What fine work. The birdbath is good too.

Thanks very much for showing these--I hope that you will show even more as time go by.

I have about 30 zebra finches and 1 canary in the cage. The red bottles are humming bird feeders hanging on the outside of the cage under the eave to stay out of the sun. We have a lot of humming birds around here so I have to have a couple of bottles to keep up with them.
