First is some sort of orchid tree. I've had it for at least four years and have only gotten one flower from it. However, it's looking healthier this year than the previous... so maybe I'll get some flowers. Not sure how big it's supposed to get since I haven't ID'd it yet. But I'm thinking that I need to get it a bigger pot.

And then the Solar Light/Planter Hanger. Got this from the Dollar Store. The light only worked for one day! But I mostly got it for the plant hangers anyhow. Kinda cheaply made... but still cute I thought.

And lastly... some Lantana that I picked up the other day. I've never seen this color before... and since orange is my fav color... I just had to have it.

You've got some nice blooms. :D I like the lantana too but we have to overwinter them inside since they can't take the cold. I wonder if we should try and grow some this year.

Nice growing going on in your yard. I like the red, yellow and orange theme you have in the large pot.

A larger pot would probably help the Orchid Tree fill out more. I think they are supposed to bloom in late winter/early spring.

That is a cute solar light/plant hanger...it's a shame the light didn't work for very long.

I had some of the yellow Lantana a few years ago. It really liked my backyard and spread everywhere. So I dug it up and what lived the digging went to a friend who needed something to take over a corner. Keeping it in the basket is probably a good thing.

I've got a spot picked out for the Lantana at the family home. But since my Brother is still doing some fence work, it'll just have to stay in a pot for now. Where I'm planning on putting it... no problem for it to just spread and spread!
Will repot the orchid tree as soon as I get home.

I really like your solar light/plant hanger Cheryl - shame about the light but it's still lovely.

I love orange too and always look at the orange lantana when I see it. It's more or less an annual here so I pass on it. Today I found some orange tall Phlox! I've been watching for it since last summer!

The plant hangar, like I said, is pretty cheaply made. First I thought just putting rocks at the bottom would hold it up straight. But.. NOT! Finally ending just drilling some holes in the big plastic pot and tieing it tight with fishing line. If you look REALLY close, you can probably see it.

Let us know if that works. It just wouldn't have worked on this flimsy one.
