I've been told that "what goes around, comes around." Well, I helped build shelving at the local food pantry and the manager mentioned he raises show rabbits. Where there are rabbits, there is rabbit poop!
I asked if he sold the rabbit manure, and he said no, but I could have all I wanted. It seems he has bags and bags of it just sitting around. I'm taking the truck to his farm Monday to pick up several bags of one of the best manures you can get for a garden!
I spent a happy morning hammering and measuring at the pantry, and now I have a source of instant-use manure, thanks to the manager.
I'm going to look for more good deeds to do. If they all pay off like this one did, my garden will be spectacular!

Building the shelving is certainly going to pay you back big time and for a long time!! :-D Rabbit droppings, because they're digested twice, make one of the very best manures as they break down quickly when dug into the soil and aren't too strong - your plants are going to love them.
Now if you find some more folks like the chap at the local food pantry you'll have a beautiful garden and save lots of money too. Save the cash you would have spent and when you have enough you can go out and treat yourself to some of those plants you could never afford before. :D

    Jane... that is so awesome!
I've been talking to the rabbits around here and trying to get them to poop on the plants that need an extra "boost". But they just look at me like I'm nuts and hop off to poop wherever they want.
    Silly Wabbits! :D
