Some of you might know that I recently got myself a new modem router ..... I think it was quite awhile ago after my old modem router got fried by lightning. Like all other previous modem or modem router I used to have they all run kind of a hot. Since my modem router runs at least 18 hours a day, I wanted it to run cooler instead of hot.

This new modem router have a 2 year warranty and so I cannot make any modification to it, just putting losening a screw in it and no more warranty. So with some careful thoughts, now I have a cool modem router with it's warranty intact :-D

It does look like a small robot KK. Now as long as, in the dead of night, a blinking red light does not follow you around the room. :)

    Hi KK Ng,
that looks very neat,..professional!,..and it hasn't affected your warranty,..they do get very hot and i often wonder does it affect the connection to the internet?,..i have had friends whose modem melted,..so i have mine on an egg box type structure,..doesn't look very good i admit,..now it looks far worse after seeing your very nice job.
