    Now why didn't I do that with our kids when they were young? ;)
    The geese certainly have a good way of making sure that nothing will get at their goslings with one of them at either end of the line. I just hope you have no pike under the water.

    Sure looks like the way my folks kept up is inline (although there were ONLY six of us kids). ;)

    If they were balancing books on their heads I would think this looked just like summers with Gram for me, my sisters and our cousins... I still sit with back so straight I am occasionally asked if I am comfortable! LOL

    Eileen, my husband and I went canoeing once in Wilmington NC and I was tossing bread to the ducks and ducklings on the shore. No one went in for a nibble and Mom & Dad ducks were not allowing kids in for a treat. I was kind of hurt until my husband pointed out the bubbles rising near the bread crumbs! A very big alligator was lurking almost under our canoe!
