There's blooms on the canes and there's quite a few berries forming. :smt026

I'm still a month away from our traditional frost free date. I'm jealous. Green with envy. Flubberstrated. Just downright disgusted!

Cheryl I think we're all a bit jealous of your Kiowa Blackberries. I hope they thrive for you and that you'll make us all even more green with envy when you show us your first crop. :stew2:

Well, I'm a little green with envy too, Cherylad.... excited for you too. That sure is a pretty picture of the blackberry blossom and berry.

Thanks everyone. I'm really excited to see them bearing fruit. I got them in late fall and they are planted in a HUGE container (and a little bit more in a smaller container). I wasn't expecting any fruit the first year... so naturally I was thrilled to see berries forming. And the pretty flowers are just a bonus!
I check on them daily... just to make sure I get to eat them before the birds and/or "the boys" (Hubby & 2 brothers). :D
