My last day of work will be Saturday, Nov. 8th. I'm really looking forward to it, too. That's 20 days from now. Only 15 working days though. I don't know if I should count all of the days or just the working days. I guess I should count all of them. After that we will have a big yard sale and we should be ready to count the days until we get to Texas. I hope we can anyway. We've decided on the size truck we will need and how to transport our truck. Chance can ride in the moving truck with us. There will be room for her. We have a harness for her that will fasten through a seat belt. Anyway, that's the plan for now. dooley

Great not long now! what a big move for you gosh if we had to move we have so much junk we would have to part with! The harness for chance sounds a good idea I dont like the fact that they are loose they need protection from accidents too plus it would keep them in one place rather than jumping around the vehicle. I hope you enjoy your last 20 days where you are and have a great move, Moving anywhere is stressful so moving interstate I am sure is very stressful.

I am glad things are winding down. I know it is very tiring work. Once you get there and get everything out of the truck you can take your time unpacking. Wannabe

If she hadn't gotten sick and had the surgery I'm sure she would have been here by now. dooley

Only 19 days left now. There is a hiring freeze so they can't replace me. They are changing the hours of the library. Now, they are open 10 am to 9 pm Monday thru Thursday and 10 am to 6 pm on Friday and 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday. They are going to move the opening back to 9 am and the closing times back an hour. The employees will still work the extra hour but with the public not in there they will be able to get more done and hopefully finish the checkin and shelving. Plus, the city has some employees in the building permits department that are having a slow period because building is down so they are going to do some transferring to other departments instead of laying them off. So, some of those people may come to work in the library. Should be interesting. They are hoping they don't get the ones no one else wants. Well, I won't worry about it as I only have 19 days left now. dooley

You'll get to help her unpack. That, to me, would be more fun than packing!!

Only 18 days now. Glenda can unpack but she has to put everything away where it goes. She can't just unpack the boxes and leave everything in a jumbo. LOL. dooley

Only 17 days now. Things are changing at work. Last night Gloria did most of the shelving and I worked at the checkout desk. She is trying to see if she can get it all done by herself. I know she can do it but she has her doubts. She'll have some help and they are changing the hours so she will have a bit of time after the library is closed. dooley
