Here it's been a very pretty fall, especially since we have been in a drought all summer. Even the lowly Gumball trees are looking fine. The last leaves of the muscadines. Looking up through the crepe myrtle. Last week after some unusually warm temps out came this butterfly on the very last Nelly Moser clematis bloom.
Beautiful autumnal colours Bethie. I love seeing the leaves all turning into red, gold and copper tones before becoming bare during winter.
Nice picts. My daughter (redrose) just had her b-day and I remember when I brought her home 20 yrs ago from the hospital, it was a nice fall day. This year 20 yrs later-snow. What a big differance.
Lovely colours, thank you, thank you! All is white here now. I especially like your Nelly Moser with the lovely butterfly. That clematis grows around here too, but not at the moment...
That is great fall colour you have captured there Bethie. Thanks for sharing. It is so nice to see trees that change colour in fall. On the Stew we are so lucky to have members from all over who share.
lovely photo's Bethie we have just swept up the last of the big tree leaves and they have all gone on the compost heap this year and are already rotting down. We have not yet seen any snow (and don't really want to) but we could do with a few good frosts to kill off the snail and slug eggs. G.
What nice piccies. If I hadn't already known it was fall, those would have put me right in the mood. Thanks for showing them.
