Well just picking some of the last of this years tomato crop.

The siletz finished early in the season, but the sungolds (cherry toms in pic) italian paste (smaller toms)and amish paste(big toms) are still going well.

Big thanks to Sjoerd for his suggestion of defoliating, other than windfall, i have a lot less green toms this year. although i have to admit they do look strange in the garden without leaves.

so if you have to many green toms at the end of the year highly recommend this technique

Well Dan, it may be the end of your season, but you are still getting decent harvests.

Those toms on the vine ought to go ahead and finish ripening for you, I'd reckon.

If it begins frosting or the weather is getting too bad, you can always pull the plant up and hang it (toms and all) upside down in some protected and dry place and they will continue to ripen.

It seems that you had a pretty darn good season this year. Congrats.
