Hard freeze is likely this week, so this is probably the last photos of the season. Didn't resize everything, so will leave a link for you. http://www.bondpiano.com/Dirt2006/october.html
You have such beautiful flowers .I can only say WOW .My Confedrate roses are blooming some will be in a few days 100s of blooms I do not have as many plants blooming now but my Crepe Mertles are in solid bloom the purple and white Angel Trumpets are still blooming lots and now the double yellow ones are starting. Your flowers are just so amazing.I have never had any luck with Clemantis.
Thanks, this has been the best year I've ever had. It's been raining every 5-7 days, and it's really made a difference. With our recent heat wave, the tomatoes have really set on again, so I'm going to be picking green tomatoes tomorrow before the freeze, or cover them. Haven't decided what I want to do yet. It was 85 last week, and will be 28 this week!
Now that's what I've ben missing - piccies of your gorgeous garden!!! Sooooooo much colour and such a wonderful variety of plants. I've saved them to my favourites so that I can look at them when my garden dies back during winter. They'll certainly cheer me up. :-D
I've said it before but I'll say it again, what a fantastic garden you have PianoLady! You must be the envy of your neighbours?
What an incredible garden!!! What a lot of work. Do people walking or riding by your house stop and look? They should if they don't. You have created a masterpiece.
Thanks everyone for the kind words. I do catch people slowing down on occasion, but we generally have the same people driving by every day. I actually have another neighbor that is two doors down that loves gardening as much as I do. The neighbor between us hates gardening, a lot. So it's quite funny, and he's always got some snide remark ready, but we don't care!
