We had our first freeze last night, Nov. 11-12, so I harvested all the roses in bud and just opening. We ended up with five bouquets:

They are scattered around the house, adding their fragrance in almost every room. I'll deadhead the bushes and wait for them to bloom again in spring.

OO I do so love the scent of roses in the house. I have 'lost label' David Austin roses in the front garden and they're perfumed. I bring some in when we have visitors and they always remark on the lovely scent they give off.
