    What a marvelous variety of sealife!! The Compound Tunicate could almost be a section of rotting brain material - OK I'm a bit weird I know. :rolleyes: What exactly is the Turkish Washcloth? A type of seaweed perhaps?
    I've just been watching a programme called 'Springwatch' here this week and it's amazing just what can be found in the waters around the British Isles. What a pity I don't have the equipment to take underwater photographs. :(

    Tukish washcloth is strange it starts like my image and them goes on to become a red algae This is on google Turkish washcloth I will be off down the Oregon Coast on Monday, down to Haystack Rock. So have a look at the rock. Managed to get some decent stuff last year. There are lots of birds there also.

    Thanks for the wishes regarding my Oregon trip.
    All the marine images are taken around Victoria and Sooke, which is about 30 miles away. I also like the furry ones and I'm hoping that their turn comes in September when I go through the rockies to Banff. Here is one from my last trip there.

    I hope that shot was taken with a zoom lens!! I can only see Black Bears here in Wildlife parks or zoos.

    I did have a telephoto on the camera but it was still very close It came onto the road and crossed it, you may have seen this shot before.
