Have managed to get a few more images named. I have them on a viewing page here Marine Life Just give it a click, comments would be appreciated. Thank you.
What a marvelous variety of sealife!! The Compound Tunicate could almost be a section of rotting brain material - OK I'm a bit weird I know. What exactly is the Turkish Washcloth? A type of seaweed perhaps? I've just been watching a programme called 'Springwatch' here this week and it's amazing just what can be found in the waters around the British Isles. What a pity I don't have the equipment to take underwater photographs.
Tukish washcloth is strange it starts like my image and them goes on to become a red algae This is on google Turkish washcloth I will be off down the Oregon Coast on Monday, down to Haystack Rock. So have a look at the rock. Managed to get some decent stuff last year. There are lots of birds there also.
I'll look forward to your photographs from Haystack Rock. I hope you have a good day there with your camera. :-D
That's a great page of images... my goodness. Where have they been taken Kildale? Wishing you a good trip to Oregon too.
Thanks for the wishes regarding my Oregon trip. All the marine images are taken around Victoria and Sooke, which is about 30 miles away. I also like the furry ones and I'm hoping that their turn comes in September when I go through the rockies to Banff. Here is one from my last trip there. I hope that shot was taken with a zoom lens!! I can only see Black Bears here in Wildlife parks or zoos.
I did have a telephoto on the camera but it was still very close It came onto the road and crossed it, you may have seen this shot before. ( photo / image / picture from Kildale's Garden )
