I asked a lady in a nearby village if I could photograph her gnomes but, sadly, she wouldn't allow me into her back garden. Such a pity as she had birds, frogs, animals and even Snow White and the seven dwarves. I couldn't get a clear photograph of them through her high hedge either.
Thank you for the posts. Eileen, you would think that people like that would be pleased that you were interested.
That's what I thought and why I went to her door to ask. I was really disappointed by her reaction - maybe she thought I was going to try and steal her gnomes.
